Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Decisionfy collects, why we collect it, who helps us process it and how you can have it deleted. The short version: we use your data to generate your reports and run the service, and for nothing else.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Decisionfy is operated by Lamatools Ltd, based in Kenya. For privacy questions or requests, email support@decisionfy.com.
2. What we collect
- Account information: your email address and basic account details. If you ask for a free first report during early access, we store your email address, your store's web address and the rough number of orders you get a month.
- Uploaded sales files: the order exports you upload, and the reports we generate from them. Shopify order exports can include your customers' personal data, such as names, email addresses and shipping addresses. For that data, you decide what to upload and we process it only on your behalf to produce your report. We never contact your customers.
- Usage data: technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and error logs, collected by our hosting provider to keep the service secure and working.
- Payment information: handled by Polar. We do not see or store your full card details. We receive basic billing information such as your plan and payment status.
3. Why we use it
- To generate your insight reports and run the service.
- To manage your account and subscription.
- To provide support and send important service emails.
- To contact early-access sign-ups about their free first report.
- To keep Decisionfy secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
4. What we never do
- We never sell your data.
- We never use your uploaded data to train AI models, and we don't let our providers do so.
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
5. Who processes your data
We use a small number of trusted providers (subprocessors) to run Decisionfy. They process data only on our instructions and only for the purposes below.

Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. We will update this list if we add or change a provider.
6. How long we keep it
- Uploaded files and reports are kept while your account is active, so you can return to your reports.
- When you ask us to delete your data, or close your account, we delete your files, reports and account data within 30 days. Billing records kept by Polar are retained as required by tax law.
- Early-access sign-up details are kept until you get access or ask us to remove you.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time. Email support@decisionfy.com from the address on your account and we will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with our providers listed above. Access to customer data within our team is limited to what is needed to run and support the service.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we will email account holders before it takes effect and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
