Terms of Service
Last updated:
These terms explain what you can expect from Decisionfy and what we expect from you. They are written in plain English. By creating an account or paying for Decisionfy, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Decisionfy is operated by Lamatools Ltd, a company based in Kenya (“Decisionfy”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@decisionfy.com.
2. The service
Decisionfy is an analytics tool for online store owners. You upload a sales export (in the current version, a Shopify order CSV) and we generate a written insight report. Each insight explains a pattern in your sales and recommends an action. Reports are generated with the help of AI models.
Decisionfy is currently in early access. Features may change as we improve the product. We will tell you before we remove a feature that is part of your paid plan.
Free first report. During early access, your first report is free. We don't ask for payment details for it, and you are under no obligation to subscribe afterwards.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and use Decisionfy for your business.
- Give us accurate information, including a working email address.
- Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us straight away at support@decisionfy.com if you think your account has been misused.
4. Acceptable use
When you use Decisionfy, you agree that you will:
- Only upload data you have the right to use. Order exports can contain personal data about your customers, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis to share it with us for analysis.
- Not upload malicious files or content that is unlawful.
- Not try to break, overload, reverse engineer or get unauthorised access to the service or other users' data.
- Not resell or share access to Decisionfy without our written permission.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. Subscription and billing
After your free first report, the Pro plan costs US$19 per month, billed monthly in advance. Enterprise plans are priced individually and agreed in writing.
Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record. Polar handles payment, sales tax and VAT, and invoices. When you subscribe, you buy from Polar, and Polar's own terms also apply to the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
If we change our prices, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your subscription. You can cancel before then if you do not want to continue.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime, from your billing settings or by emailing support@decisionfy.com. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again.
7. Refunds
If Decisionfy doesn't help, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment, with no questions asked. Later monthly renewals are not refunded. The details are in our Refund Policy.
8. Your data
You own your data, including the files you upload and the reports we generate from them. You give us permission to store and process your data only as needed to provide and support the service for you. We never sell your data and never use it to train AI models. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it and which providers help us run the service.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@decisionfy.com.
9. No guaranteed results
Decisionfy gives you insights and recommendations based on the data you provide. They are for information only and are not financial, legal or professional advice. AI-generated analysis can be incomplete or wrong, and results depend on the quality of your data. We do not guarantee that following a recommendation will produce any specific result, such as higher sales or profit. You decide what to do with your business.
10. Availability
We work hard to keep Decisionfy running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. There may be interruptions for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost sales, lost data or business interruption.
- Our total liability to you for any claim relating to Decisionfy is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Decisionfy and cancel at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we decide to shut down the service, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any period you have paid for but cannot use.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product grows. If a change materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using Decisionfy after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. This does not take away any consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
